Note from 2009 Convention Chair

Dear Colleagues,

Never has it been more important that we all come together to learn, share and collectively manage the current economic situation that has impacted all of us than now. This year’s convention team has been working hard to bring you relevant, current and thought provoking education that will help you position your speaking business to take advantage of the unsettling times.

We will be featuring a unique TED style rally on Sunday morning that will showcase nine international speakers all sharing fresh perspectives on the speaking business that will challenge us to look at things differently. Our commitment is to bring you REAL education, REAL learning, and REAL results!

Our other big emphasis this year will be on helping you grow your network and improve your netWORTH by offering you many opportunities to connect with other colleagues and experts. We’re bringing back a light continental breakfast hosted by CSP’s & CPAE’s in a roundtable fromat that will help you get focused each day of the convention to maximize your return on investment and attendance.

We also promise to bring you a lot of laughter, joy and pure fun at this year’s convention! We hope you will make plans now to bring your partner, staff and family members to the award winning JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort and Spa where we promise hot weather, a cool one mile lazy river, and the most thought-provoking education you’ve seen in a long time.
