Q.  Why do you think intellectual property protection is important for speakers?

Mark: As speakers, our two most important resources are our time and intellectual property. We should guard them both. Your distinction and differentiation in the markeplace come from your intellectual property. Everybody has the same amount of time in each day, but we all have different i.p In that regard, intellectual property is the more strategic resource. You insure what you treasure, and i.p. should be no different.

Q.  Why should NSA members attend Mark’s program at the NSA meeting in Scottsdale on November 21?

Mark: I’ve worked with Mark and he knows his stuff.  He brings a unique perspective as both an I.P. lawyer and a speaker. That’s not a combination you find often. He has the ability to clarify complex issues and communicate them in a way you not only understand but can use. I highly recommend his session.
