Well, it turns out that I can’t post photos on this blog directly. So I’ve posted my pics on dotphoto.com. Hopefully, one of these links will enable you to see them:

Ya know, these titles would be a lot cooler if they had musical accompaniment. Oh, well.
I’m back home and I’ve had a few days to catch up on both sleep and work. Still not able to upload pics, though. If we can work it out, I’ll post them in my next entry. If not, I’ll upload [...]

“Flowers and sunlight are the cure for cancer of the soul.” – Bill Strickland
“Happiness is more important to success than success is to happiness. ” – Cathie Black
Those are two of my favorite thoughts from the closing general session on Tuesday morning. Bill Strickland was so very moving. I, and those around me, were [...]

Well, another NSA Convention is over. And as usual, much too soon. Between catching up with friends I haven’t seen in a year (or more), meeting cool new people and soaking up ideas and strategies, the time always seems to fly by.
I just flew back to Denver with half the Colorado chapter. (I think next [...]

Day 3 and counting . . .
Rations are running low but morale remains high. Wait, that’s my journal from the time I was stuck on that desert island. Never mind.
Morale is definitely high though. Everyone I’ve talked with has loved Mark LeBlanc’s theme, “NSA Rocks” and Eric Chester’s execution of that theme. Including today’s opening session keynoter, [...]

One of the best thing about this convention is the neat people I’m meeting.
Even in packed elevators, folks are nice.
Mastermind buddies get to connect in person.
VIP first timers are welcomed home.
And we are all so proud of our new CPS!
Time is flying in a blur…
So much learned.
So many more people to [...]

It is Monday afternoon and things are still rockin’ here in NYC! Monday morning started out with a bang – people dancing in the aisles. Even Steve Forbes commented on the energy and enthusiasm (along with the dancing) in the room. He was, from my point of view, an unexpected delight. All political agendas aside, he [...]

People showed up in their rock concert best – and others were interesting too.
The Pipes and Drums of the Emerald Society were a site to behold as they marched in to present the flags.
Eric Chester, our tour promoter, challenged us to think of this event as a concert rather than a convention. A concert [...]

A few highlights from Day 2 of the Convention at the Marriott Marquis. (Apparently “marquis” is a French word that means “the elevators don’t work when you need them to.”)
Morning keynoter Marshall Goldsmith demonstrated to us that it’s possible to get an audience to give you money just by telling them to. Who knew? I [...]

Hi, I’m Don Cooper! I just left the Cigar PEG and wanted to share some impressions with you while they’re still fresh in my mind. Here’s Richard Nixon . . . whoops, wrong kind of impression.
The 2008 Convention has officially kicked off. And it has done so with an energy and excitement I’ve never seen in 10 [...]
